| Black Crepe Evening Dress, 1938-1940's That little black dress that goes with absolutely everything! This lovely creation is today's 6-8. The bias cut accents the figure by draping nicely. There is a side zipper and decollete neckline. (For display purposes only and to showcase neckline and hem edges and trim, we have placed a light colored fabric on the dress form for definition.) The accent at the waist is Chantilly lace with six rhinestone buttons. Detail of lace insert at the hem displays a side-swept opening. There are two black lace appliques at either side of the skirt above the hem. A few tiny repairs and pinholes at the hem, but not noticeable with a black slip. |
