Pink Batiste Bodice with Cream Lace 1896

Front Back
A pretty bodice from about 1894, determined by the smaller version of the gigot sleeve as worn by young girls of the day. Made of pink batiste (a soft lawn or fine cotton feel) trimmed with cream lace (in excellent condition) at collar and cuffs. Small unnoticeable rust stain at lower back but when worn as pouty pigeon bodice, fabric blouses over edge and not seen.
